(New York City, NY)– A Spencer woman battling Lou Gehrig’s Disease, or ALS, has received another dose of a potentially life-saving drug.
Jaci Hermstad received her seventh infusion of the drug, known as ASO. The procedure was performed in Minneapolis.
Jaci’s mother, Lori Hermstad, was a featured speaker Wednesday evening at the annual Project ALS Fundraiser in New York City. She referenced the course of treatment for Jaci and talked about her emotions. Lori also spoke of her hopes and dreams for Jaci.
Jaci’s twin sister, Alex, died of the same disease.
