(Spencer)– A two-vehicle collision Saturday at the north Y in Spencer sent one person to the hospital.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 22-year-old William Estrada of Sioux Falls was driving a 2002 Jeep Liberty westbound and was crossing through the intersection when he collided with a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse driven by 64-year-old Jeffrey Frederickson of Storm Lake.
A passenger in Frederickson’s vehicle, was taken to Spencer Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Estrada was cited for failure to yield.
The collision took place shortly before 3:00 pm.
