(Spirit Lake)– Spirit Lake police are asking for the public’s help in locating the owner of a dog.
Police in a facebook post say the dog, a white pitbull, possibly a mix, was involved in an incident over the weekend in which a person sustained a serious dog bite.
Officers say it’s important the dog’s owners be located so they can verify its vaccination status.
Anyone with information as to who may own a pitbull of that description in Spirit Lake should contact the Spirit Lake Police Department at 336-5776.
