Traffic Stop Results In Arrests Of Two People From Emmetsburg On Drug Charges

(Estherville)– Two people were arrested following a traffic stop back on September 27th in Emmet county.

Authorities say a deputy pulled over a vehicle on 440th Avenue near Ingham Lake and discovered what was alleged to be controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.

The driver, 41-year-old Ashley Moritz of Emmetsburg, was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a revoked license.

A passenger, 53-year-old Timothy Moritz, also of Emmetsburg, was charged with possession of a controlled substance…3rd offense…methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
