(Spencer)– A Milford man escaped injury Sunday when a vehicle he was driving collided with a bridge on Highway 18 in Clay county.
Authorities say 67-year-old Larry Johnson was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer eastbound when he lost control of the vehicle on the icy bridge. It slid into the westbound lane and collided with the north side of the bridge before coming to rest in the eastbound lane.
$2,000 in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
The crash took place around 6:30 am.
