(Jackson, Mn.)– Food shelves in Jackson county are getting a financial boost.
Jackson-based Federated Rural Electric Association announced today (Fri.) it’s donating $3,333 each to the Jackson, Lakefield and Heron Lake-Okabena food shelves.
Federated REA General Manager Scott Reimer says the donations were also made possible through their wholesale power supplier, Basin Electric Cooperative and L & O Power Cooperative’s CoBank Sharing Success Program.
