(Arnolds Park)– Crews have started making repairs to the seawall on the waterfront at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park. Officials with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and Imagine Iowa Great Lakes say the work will stabilize the foundation of the sidewalk above it.
The work is being done in advance of plans by Imagine Iowa Great Lakes to install a wooden boardwalk adjacent to the lake along with planting areas, brick pavers, a public art piece and site furnishings.
Repair on the seawall is being done by Graves Construction, a local contractor, and is scheduled for completion by the end of December.
