(Spencer)– A traffic stop earlier this month in Clay county resulted in the arrests of two teens.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it happened around 8:30 pm September 14th when a deputy noticed a smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle after he had pulled it over. A subsequent search resulted in authorities finding what’s believed to be marijuana.
18-year-old Alexander Hefner and a 16-year-old juvenile male, both of Spencer, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana. Hefner was booked into jail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond. The juvenile was cited into juvenile court and was released to the custody of a parent.
