(Spirit Lake)– The YMCA of the Okobojis Igniting a Healty Legacy Campaign has received another boost. It was announced today (Thurs.) the Sunderland Foundation of Overland Park, Kansas has contributed $350,000.
To date, officials say 78 percent of the campaign’s $6.5 million total has been raised.
The money will be used for improvements at Camp Foster as well as for the aquatics center at the Bedell Family YMCA and to establish an endowment to help with future projects.
