(Arnolds Park)– An 18-year-old old woman was injured Monday evening after falling about 10 feet from a platform at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park.
Authorities say it happened around 8:00 a.m. as the woman was standing on a loading platform near the rollercoaster.
Police say it appeared she suffered only minor injuries and that she was conscious upon being transported to Lakes Regional Healthcare.
Other details, including how she fell, weren’t immediately available. Some bystanders said it appeared she may have fainted and slipped under a railing.
She landed on some concrete below.
