Vehicles Vandalized

(Spencer)– Spencer police are investigating several incidents in which vehicles were vandalized over the past several days.

The first report was received shortly after 10:00 p.m. Thursday. Authorities say two tires had been cut on a vehicle parked in the 500 block of Fourth Avenue East in Spencer. Damage was estimated at 500-dollars.

The next report came in around 8:30 a.m. Friday. Police say the rear window of a vehicle parked in the 1500 block of Second Avenue East was broken. Damage was estimated at 500-dollars.

Authorities are investigating the thefts of two hood clips and an air breather taken from a vehicle parked in the 2100 block of First Avenue East. That report was received shortly before 9:00 a.m. Saturday.

And Spencer police say a windshield and back window were broken out of a vehicle parked in a parking lot in the 500 block of West Sixth Street in Spencer. Damage was estimated at one-thousand dollars. Police received that report shortly before 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
