(Spencer)– A two-vehicle collision Monday at the intersection of Highway 71 and 11th Avenue Southwest in Spencer sent one person to the hospital.
Spencer police say 33-year-old Scott Walters of Helena, Montana was westbound when he travelled through a stop sign and collided with a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Douglas Oldenkamp of Spencer.
Oldenkamp was taken to Spencer Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.
No injuries were reported to Walters, who was cited for failure to yield at a stop or yield sign.
Two thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1999 GMC pickup Walters was driving; a 1991 Chevrolet S-10 pickup driven by Oldenkamp was totaled.
The collision took place around 3:20 p.m.
