(Spirit Lake)– The Veteran’s Administration’s new outpatient clinic in Spirit Lake was officially unveiled Monday.
V-A officials say the Spirit Lake clinic is initially providing care to 1,500 veterans in an eight county area of northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota. They expect that number to grow to more than 3,800 three years from now.
The 5,500 square foot outpatient clinic is located in the strip mall just east of Hy-Vee on Lake Street. It features eight exam rooms and also offers home-based care.
