(Spirit Lake)– The Department of Veteran’s Affairs’ Community Based Outpatient Clinic officially opened its doors today (Monday, July 2nd) at 1310 Lake Street in Spirit Lake.
The brand new facility opened at 8:00 a.m.
The facility provides primary care, home-based primary care and mental health services to veterans throughout northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota.
Veterans currently enrolled in the VA system who would like to transfer their care to the Spirit Lake clinic should call (605) 333-6846 or 1-800-316-8387…extension 6395.
Veterans not currently enrolled in the VA system should contact the Eligibility Department at the Sioux Falls VA Medical Center at 1-800-316-8387, extension 4196.
A dedication and open house for the Spirit Lake clinic is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. July 9th.
