(Spirit Lake)– Spirit Lake police say a report of an underage drinking party they received around midnight Sunday resulted in a couple of arrests.
Police say officers were called to the 800 block of Ithaca Avenue. Upon arriving they made contact with three individuals. Officers determined one minor had been drinking. Further investigation turned up a small amount of what’s alleged to be marijuana and several items of drug paraphernalia.
One juvenile male was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and was released to a parent.
19-year-old Cody Hoffman of Spirit Lake was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol under the legal age.
