(Orange City)– The Iowa State Patrol has released details into a collision February 11th on Highway 60 near Alton that sent one person to the hospital. Troopers say 43-year-old Jared Block of Alton was driving a 2021 Mack truck and 18-year-old Dyllon Segelke of Hospers was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Venture. Both vehicles were southbound when the vehicle driven by Segelke collided with the rear of the truck driven by Block.
Segelke was taken by ambulance to the Orange City hospital and was transferred by air to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls.
The collision remains under investigation.
