(Spencer)– A two-vehicle collision Tuesday in Spencer sent one person to the hospital and resulted in charges against both drivers.
Spencer police say vehicles driven by 26-year-old Jeremy Thompson of Milford and 23-year-old Elizabeth Essick of Spencer collided near the intersection of Highway Boulevard and 18th Street near the Mediacom office.
A passenger in the vehicle driven by Thompson, 33-year-old Ronald Moore of Arnolds Park, was taken by ambulance to Spencer hospital complaining of neck and back pain. No other injuries were reported.
One thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1995 Dodge Ram driven by Thompson; 3,500-dollars in damage was estimated to a 1993 Dodge Intrepid driven by Essick.
Thompson was charged for driving while suspended while Essick was cited for failure to yield.
The collision took place shortly after 3:00 p.m.
