(Ocheyedan)– A traffic stop early this (Friday) morning landed an Ocheyedan man in jail on drunk driving and drug charges.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 39-year-old Michael Geary of Ocheyedan was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated…first offense.
Authorities say a subsequent search of the vehicle turned up a green, leafy substance alleged to be marijuana.
An additional charge of possession of a controlled substance was then filed against Geary.
He was booked into the Oseola county jail on a two thousand dollar cash bond.
