Traffic Stop Results In Drug Charges Against Sibley Man (1)

(Sibley)– A traffic stop Friday in Osceola county has resulted in drug charges against a Sibley man.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Thomas Ackerman and discovered he had been driving with a suspended license…a simple misdemeanor.

A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up a baggie with a substance alleged to be methamphetamine and a glass pipe.

Ackerman was also charged with possession of a controlled substance…third offense…a class “D” felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor.

Ackerman was released after posting bond of 10,725-dollars.
