Traffic Stop Results In Drug Charges Against Marathon Man

November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– A weekend traffic stop landed a Marathon man in jail on drug charges.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle in the 4600 block of Highway 71 around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

A subsequent search resulted in deputies finding what’s alleged to be drug paraphernalia and a substance believed to be marijuana.

22-year-old Aaron Griggs was booked into the Clay county jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Griggs was released after posting bond.
