(Orange City)– A traffic stop Friday in Sioux county resulted in the arrest of a Worthington, Minnesota man on several charges.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Florentin Chilel-Ramirez was pulled over around 10:00 am on Highway 60 one mile south of Alton. A subsequent investigation resulted in a deputy discovering Chilel-Ramirez had allegedly been driving with a suspended license and that he gave the deputy a false name.
Chilel-Ramirez was booked into jail on charges of providing false information, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver’s license, operation of a motor vehicle with expired registration and failure to provide proof of motor vehicle liability insurance.
