(Spencer)– A traffic stop early Sunday landed an Atkins, Iowa man in jail on several warrants.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a passenger in the vehicle that was pulled over, 23-year-old Eliseo Pacheco Hernandez allegedly provided a deputy with a false social security card with another name. The name that was given was for a subject wanted out of Dickinson county for drug charges.
The deputy detained the man and transported him to jail. That’s where Hernandez gave his real name. It was then determined he was wanted by Emmet county for two outstanding warrants.
The Clay county deputy charged Hernandez with forgery, for the false social security card and the false photo identification.
