(Rock Rapids)– An investigation Saturday into a report of a suspicious vehicle in Lyon county resulted in the arrest of a Sanborn woman. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy located the vehicle parked at a business and that 28-year-old Christine Larson of Sanborn was near it. The deputy made contact with Larson and discovered she was wanted on valid arrest warrants from O’Brien and Clay counties. Larson was then transported to the Lyon county jail where it was discovered she had allegedly introduced contraband into the facility. She was charged with possession of contraband in a correctional facility and possession of a controlled substance.
