Suspicious Activity At Car Dealership Results In Arrests Of Three Juvies

November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– A report of suspicious activity near a Spencer car dealership early Thursday resulted in the arrests of three juveniles.

Spencer police say officers were called to Motor Inn in the 900 block of South Grand Avenue around 1:40 a.m. Upon arriving, officers found three juveniles inside the building. The three took off after being spotted, leading officers on a foot pursuit. They were able to nab one of the suspects.

Through further investigation, they eventually caught up with the other two.

The juveniles–two 14-years-old and one 16-years-old, all from Spencer, were taken into custody and charged with burglary in the third degree. One was also charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana.

All three were processed and released to their parents.
