(Spirit Lake)– A suspect accused of shooting a woman last month in the parking lot at Grapetree Medical Staffing in Milford has pleaded not guilty to a first degree murder charge. Christian Goyne-Yarns entered the written plea today (Monday) in Dickinson County District Court.
Goyne-Yarns is accused of shooting Shelby Woizeschke multiple times during the February 3rd incident. He was initially charged with attempted murder. That was upgraded to 1st degree murder after Woizescke died of her injuries a few days later at a Sioux Falls hospital.
Online court records don’t indicate whether a trial date has yet been set for Goyne-Yarns. He remains in the Dickinson county jail on a $1 million dollar bail.
