(Des Moines)– State Senator Dave Rowley of Spirit Lake has filed papers to run for Iowa Senate District 5 in the Republican primary June 7th.
Rowley currently serves as state senator for District 1 after winning a contested nominating convention and a special election last December.
Due to re-districting, Rowley is kicking off his re-election for the new Iowa Senate District 5, comprised of Dickinson, Emmet, Kossuth, Palo Alto and Winnebago counties, along with northern Clay county.
