(Des Moines)– The Iowa Board of Behavioral Science has suspended the license of a Spirit Lake health counselor. Michelle Banks is accused of supplying alcohol and marijuana to an underage person in Woodbury county. The incident allegedly took place on April 13th of this year. A criminal charge in the case has not yet been filed.
Banks is also accused of allegedly sending an inappropriate text message to a client in January of this year.
A disciplinary hearing is set for December 9th.
