(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake City Council Tuesday held the first reading of a proposed ordinance revision that would allow some property previously owned by the school district at 901 20th Street to be rezoned. City Attorney/Administrator Gregg Owens says the new owner has requested the area be rezoned to allow for multi-family housing in that area…
The matter will come back to the council for a second consideration at their next meeting. The city’s Planning and Zoning Commission recently voted in favor of recommending the change.
On another zoning related matter, the Spirit Lake City Council Tuesday granted final approval to a rezoning request for a new residential development in the Indian Hills area, known as “The Dwellings”.
