(Spencer)– Citing “personal reasons”, Spencer City Manager Dean Torresen has submitted his letter of resignation.
Friday was his last day on the job.
Mayor Reynold Peterson says City Clerk and Treasurer Donna Fisher will take over Torresen’s duties until a replacement is found.
Peterson says the city’s Finance Committee will meet in the near future to discuss what to do from here.
Torresen says his resignation is the result of an annual performance evaluation by the council that identified some philosophical differences.
Torresen served as Spencer’s City Manager since October 6th, 1997.
