Spencer Traffic Stop Results In Two Arrest

November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– A traffic stop early Sunday in Spencer resulted in two arrests: one person was cited for drug charges, the other for an outstanding warrant.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle in the Exact Eye Care parking lot shortly after 2:30 a.m.

Authorities say a passenger, 26-year-old Nathaniel Neuman of Spencer, was discovered to be in possession of a pain killer prescription drug which was not prescribed to him. Neuman was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance, prescription drugs, a serious misdemeanor.

Another passenger, 25-year-old Timothy Weber of Spencer, was arrested on an O’Brien county warrant for criminal mischief in the fifth degree.
