(Spencer)– A Spencer couple faces drug charges after a search of their home early Wednesday.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it executed a search warrant around 5:30 a.m. on a residence at 318 East 14th Street in Spencer.
Authorities say the search turned up methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Two people living in the residence, Doug and Kathy Pratt, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine…a serious misdemeanor; possession of a controlled substance with intent, marijuana…an aggravated misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor.
The two were booked into the Clay county jail on bond of 8,775-dollars each.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says the case remains under investigation and additional arrests are expected.
