(Spencer)– Some of the largest crowds in recent years attended the various events associated with Flagfest this past weekend in Spencer.
Sheriffa Jones of the Spencer Chamber of Commerce says the parade saw some of the highest attendance and participation numbers since 2021. She adds the event continues to draw more and more people from outside the area…
“Huge kudos to the marketing team at the chamber. We had individuals from Germany and Pennsylvania that are visiting the area that found out about Flagfest, they knew about it. And also we had a runner from Honolulu in the 5K. Really pretty fantastic in terms of participation from outside of Spencer.”
Jones also thanks everyone who helped make the Flagfest possible again this year along with those who attended the various events.
