(Pocahontas)– A teacher from northwest Iowa is the 2022 recipient of the Iowa STEM Teacher Award. Susan Oehlerts is a K-12 Technology Integrator and Computer Science instructor at Pocahontas Area Community Schools.
The award is given to educators each year who go above and beyond to inspire student interest and awareness of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Oehlerts was nominated for the honor by a colleague.
