December 09, 2021 Steve Schwaller

(Truman, Mn.)– Two people were taken to the hospital following a two vehicle collision Wednesday near Truman.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 31-year-old Jacob Sanden of Fairmont was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Silverade and 62-year-old Darryl Sanden, also of Fairmont, was driving a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. Troopers say both vehicles were southbound on Highway 15th, and that Darryl Sanden had slowed to make a turn when the collision took place.

Both drivers were taken to the Fairmont hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Truman ambulance, Truman Fire Department and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office assisted on the scene.

The collision took place shortly after 2:00 pm.
