(Spirit Lake)– Several Spirit Lake High School Band members received some special recognition this past weekend.
Ben Fisher, Megan Sandison, and Zac Fisher were honored for their outstanding work at the Iowa High School Music Association All State Band and Orchestra Auditions this past Saturday in LeMars. Ben Fisher was selected to play Percussion in the All State Orchestra and Megan Sandison was selected to play Horn in the All State Orchestra. Zac Fisher was selected as 1st Alternate on Alto Saxophone for the All State Band.
Ben Fisher and Megan Sandison will travel to Ames in mid November to perform in the 75th IHSMA All State Music Festival.
