(Spirit Lake)– Some Dickinson county voters may notice changes in poll sites when they vote in Tuesday’s (6/6) primary election.
Some polling sites have been merged with others. It primarily effects sites that were not handicap accessible. They’ve been merged with ones that are to meet new federal requirements.
Here’s a rundown on polling sites for Dickinson county Tuesday:
Voters in Center Grove Township One cast ballots at the Okoboji City Hall; Center Grove Township Two will vote at the Arnolds Park City Hall; residents of Lakeville and Excelsior Townships will vote at Mahan Hall at Lakeside Lab; voters in Lloyd Township cast ballots at the Terril Memorial Building; Milford, Okoboji and Westport Township residents vote at the Milford Community Building; polling site for residents in Richland, Superior and Spirit Lake East Townships will be the Superior Municipal Building; residents in Silver Lake Township vote at the Lake Park Community Center; polling site for Spirit Lake North Township is the west room of the Dickinson County Community Building in Spirit Lake while those in Spirit Lake South vote in the east room of that same facility; and those living in Spirit Lake and West Diamond Lake Townships will vote at the Dickinson County Expo Building in Spirit Lake.
Polls are open statewide Tuesday (6/6) from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
