(Spirit Lake)– The Force Marching Band of Spirit Lake High School received some high accolades over the weekend.
The band placed 1st in Class 3A at the Dutchman Field Championship this past Saturday in Orange City, along with Outstanding Color Guard and the SSS Award for Spirit/Character.
The Force also earned straight Division I Superior ratings at the Iowa High School Music Association State Marching Band Contest in Sheldon the same day.
