(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop Wednesday in Spirit Lake landed two people in jail on drug charges.
Spirit Lake police say they assisted a DNR officer with a traffic stop shortly before 1:00 p.m. in the 2200 block of 15th Street. An investigation and subsequent search of the vehicle turned up a green plant material alleged to be marijuana and some drug paraphernalia.
The driver of the vehicle, 18-year-old Katelyn Pfeifer of Milford, and a passenger, 22-year-old Kenneth Myers of Spirit Lake, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
