(Spencer)—A Spirit Lake teen escaped injury in a single-vehicle rollover late yesterday (Tues.) afternoon on Highway 71 near Fostoria.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Randi James of Spirit Lake lost control of a 2000 Ford Focus which went into the east ditch and rolled.
An estimate of damage to the vehicle wasn’t immediately available.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Fostoria Rescue Unit and the Iowa State Patrol.
The mishap took place shortly after 5:00 p.m.
