(Spirit Lake)– Officials with Hy-Vee Incorporated announced today (Tues.) they’ve purchased the Med-Equip Pharmacy in Spirit Lake and are transferring prescription files to the pharmacy department at the Spirit Lake Hy-Vee store.
Officials say prescription service for former Med-Equip Pharmacy customers won’t be interrupted.
Med-Equip will continue to operate it’s durable medical equipment store in Spirit Lake.
Wally Tschopp, owner of Med-Equip, says he’ll continue his pharmacy businesses in Hartley and Orange City.
Tschopp says all other Spirit Lake Med-Equip employees will remain at the store.
