(Spirit Lake)– Spirit Lake firefighters were called to a fire Thursday at H & H Recycling in Spirit Lake.
Fire Chief David Kollasch tells KUOO news the fire was outside–on the east side of a building. He says some sparks started a couch on fire, which was spread by the wind to some nearby plastic.
Kollasch says firefighters had to move piles of plastic to put it out.
Spirit Lake firefighters were called to the scene around Noon. They were there a little more than two hours.
No injuries were reported.
