(Montgomery)– Here’s another indication as to just how dry it’s getting in some parts of the area.
The Spirit Lake Fire Department was called to a grass fire shortly before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on the northeast side of Montgomery.
Authorities say someone had been burning some trash and thought they had the fire put out…but it rekindled and quickly spread to a nearby grassy area.
No injuries were reported.
