(Spirit Lake)– It could be awhile yet before the Spirit Lake city council considers a proposed ordinance that would make it legal to operate all-terrain-vehicles year-round on certain city streets.
The city council Tuesday reviewed a letter drafted by the County Attorney that’s being sent to the State Attorney General seeking legal opinion on a number of issues brought up by the city.
Requests for legal opinions from the Attorney General’s Office must be routed through County Attorneys.
There was no word how long it may take to get a reply.
