Single Vehicle Mishap Injures Rural Terril Woman

November 22, 2014

(Terril)– A single-vehicle crash Monday evening about three miles southwest of Terril sent one person to the hospital.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 17-year-old Kendra Roslansky of rural Terril was westbound on 270th Street about a mile west of the intersection with 280th Avenue when she swerved to miss a deer, causing her to lose control. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a field approach, coming to rest in the ditch facing south.

Roslansky was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare. There was no word on the extent of her injuries.

Four thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1998 Dodge Ram pickup she was driving.

The mishap took place shortly after 6:00 p.m.
