(Terril)– A single vehicle crash Wednesday near the intersection of 260th Street and 270th Avenue west of Terril sent two people to the hospital. The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Alyna Astello of Estherville was driving a 2004 Jaguar eastbound on 260th Street when she failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the road and went into the ditch.
Astello and a passenger, 19-year-old Emma Sidles Emmetsburg, were taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare with non-incapacitating injuries.
The Terril Fire Department and Terril and Spirit Lake ambulances assisted on the scene.
