(Primghar)– A single vehicle crash last week in O’Brien county injured a Paullina woman. Authorities say 63-year-old Sarah Austin was driving a 2000 Jeep Cherokee westbound on a county road near Sanborn where the road turns to gravel. Austin then lost control of the vehicle which left the road and rolled, coming to rest on its roof.
Austin was taken by ambulance to the Sheldon hospital and was transferred to a Sioux Falls hospital.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $12,000.
Austin was cited for failure to maintain control and failure to obey a traffic control device.
The crash took place around 9:30 pm Wednesday.
