(Hartley)– A single vehicle crash Wednesday in O’Brien county injured a Hartley teen. The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says the 17-year-old female driver lost control of a 2003 GMC Yukon while traveling eastbound on a gravel road. Deputies say she overcorrected, causing the vehicle to spin into the north ditch where it overturned, coming to rest on its wheels.
The teen was taken by ambulance to the Sheldon hospital with minor injuries.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
She was cited with failure to maintain control.
The crash took place a little before 1:30 pm.
