(Spencer)– A single vehicle crash Sunday in Clay county injured four people, one seriously.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 30-year-old Nyamukal Lual of Storm Lake lost control of a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic was traveling southbound in the 3300 of County Road N14 when the vehicle left the road and went into the ditch.
Lual and a passenger were transported to Spencer Hospital. Lual’s injuries were said to be serious. Two other passengers were checked on the scene by ambulance crews and released.
The crash was reported around 9:13 am and remains under investigation.
The Spencer Ambulance, fire and rescue crews from Dickens and Ruthven, the Iowa DNR and the Iowa State Patrol assisted on the scene.
