(Orange city)– Serious injuries were reported in a head-on collision a little before 7:30 am Monday on Highway 10 near Orange City.
The Iowa State Patrol says 20-year-old Dalton Denhartog-Hopcroft of Alton was driving a 2008 Nissan Altima westbound when he crossed into the eastbound lane and collided with a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 21-year-old Colin Heronemous of Orange City.
Denhartog-Hopcroft was taken by air to Mercyone Siouxland in Sioux City; Heronemous was taken to the Orange City hospital.
