(Spencer)– The board of directors for the Northwest Aging Association has some new faces on it as the result of recent elections held by senior citizens in three area counties.
Richard Read of Lake Park was elected to represent Dickinson county; Kenneth Barker of Rock Rapids will represent Lyon county; and Paul Wittrock of Sutherland was elected as O’Brien county’s representative.
In addition, the Clay County Council on Aging has appointed Bob Rose of Spencer as its representative on the board of Northwest Aging.
The new directors join Don Linnan of Buena Vista county, Wayne West of Emmet county, Harold Dawson of Osceola county, Dee Pyle of Palo Alto county and Mabel Mantel of Sioux county.
Each director serves a two-year term and is responsible for Northwest Aging Association’s expenditures for programs and services in its nine-county service area of northwest Iowa.
The board meets monthly at the Northwest Aging Association offices in Spencer. The meetings are open to the public.
